Kayleigh Smith RVN
Head Nurse
Kayleigh joined Priory Veterinary Group in May 2018 as Head Nurse. She began her working career as a freelance fitness instructor, but after 10 years decided to change her career path and trained to become a veterinary nurse, qualifying in 2016. Kayleigh enjoys inpatient care and working in theatre, with a passion for cat friendly care. In her spare time she runs regularly with her dog and has completed a few running events, including half marathons. Kayleigh also continues to teach her fitness classes during the evenings.
Michael Bancroft RVN
Michael has been a qualified veterinary nurse since 2011. He worked at Priory previously as the practice head nurse and has returned once again to cover maternity leave for one year. Michael lives with his partner and their Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Lexie.
Jamie-Lea Conroy RVN
Jamie qualified from Trent University in May 2018 after completing a three year degree. She joined the Priory team one week after qualifying and really enjoys working within our practice. At home she has three pets - a dog called Oscar as well as two cats, Precious and Hope. In her free time Jamie likes to spend time with family, friends, and of course, her pets.
Amy Ward
Student Veterinary Nurse
Amy started at Priory Veterinary Group in 2017 as our animal care assistant but progressed on to her veterinary nurse training in September 2018. She has completed the pet bereavement course and has created a supportive service for our bereaving clients. Amy has two fluffy cats called Tibby and Milly and is still trying to get them to get along. She likes going out, trying new things and adventuring in her spare time.
Terri Wright
Pet Care Assistant
Terri joined Priory Veterinary Group in August 2017 as a receptionist and progressed to become a pet care assistant in 2018. She is now learning the clinical side in preparation for college in September 2019 when she will start her veterinary nurse training. Terri has an extended diploma in animal management and is currently for studying level three certificate in animal behaviour. Terri is a people person who is very approachable with a bubbly personality. In her spare time she enjoys socialising and attending car shows.
