Kayleigh joined Priory Veterinary Group in May 2018 as Head Nurse. She began her working career as a freelance fitness instructor, but after 10 years decided to change her career path and trained to become a veterinary nurse, qualifying in 2016. Kayleigh enjoys inpatient care and working in theatre, with a passion for cat friendly care. In her spare time she runs regularly with her dog and has completed a few running events, including half marathons. Kayleigh also continues to teach her fitness classes during the evenings.
Jamie-Lea Conroy RVN
Jamie qualified from Trent University in May 2018 after completing a three year degree. She joined the Priory team one week after qualifying and really enjoys working within our practice. At home she has three pets - a dog called Oscar as well as two cats, Precious and Hope. In her free time Jamie likes to spend time with family, friends, and of course, her pets.
Katy Lukehurst RVN
Katy qualified as an RVN in 2019 from Bottle Green Training. She has two dogs, a cat, two rabbits, a bearded dragon, a tortoise, fish, and a grumpy Terrapin that was handed in by a member of the public in a laundry hamper. She has a little boy and a very patient husband, and enjoys working with elderly and exotic species.
Sarah has completed her final year training as a veterinary nurse. She has been working in practice for 12 years and joined Priory Veterinary Group in June 2019. Sarah has four horses and she enjoys competing in show jumping and dressage in my spare time. She also has two dogs; Callie who is a Collie Cross and Duke, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier which is my favourite breed.
Student Veterinary Nurse
Amy started at Priory Veterinary Group in 2017 as our animal care assistant but progressed on to her veterinary nurse training in September 2018. She has completed the pet bereavement course and has created a supportive service for our bereaving clients. Amy has two fluffy cats called Tibby and Milly and is still trying to get them to get along. She likes going out, trying new things and adventuring in her spare time.
